Let's Celebrate the Holidays
Sunday, December 7, 2008 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Courtyard by Marriott Cromwell This event will celebrate the holidays and honor our many local volunteers, as well as a tribute to Tess Beauchamp "Tessa the Contessa!" This event will be open to our pageant family. Please make every effort to attend this event, it's a great way to show your enthusiasm and support of the program. Bring your spouses, family and friends and enjoy the fun. Entertainment and dancing for everyone! Ticket will include: Assortment of Cheeses and Crackers, Sliced Fruits, Fresh Garden Crudités with dip, and passed hors'douvers - Scallops wrapped in Bacon, Sesame Chicken, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Assorted Mini Quiches. Cash Bar. Adults $25, Children 12 & under $20 Dress Code: Dress to impress - only Miss Connecticut will wear crown. No Tickets Will be Available at the Door, Payments and order for tickets will be accepted up to November 28th. Connecticut's Rising Star Pageant Winners

 The 2008-09 Connecticut Rising Star Pageant took place on November 15 at the North Haven Middle School in North Haven, Connecticut.
Selected Ct's Outstanding Rising Star Petite was Emerson Forbes, 1st Runner-up - Mikayla Szostek, 2nd Runner-up - Phoebe Corey and 3rd Runner-up - Gia Iwanec. The Winner of the Ct's Outstanding Junior Rising Star was Madison Yurgaitis her 1st Runner-up - Morgan Vernonesi and 2nd Runner-up - Samanthe Holman. In the Pre-Teen Division our winner was Melissa Michaud and her 1st Runner-up was Jillian Caillioutte and 2nd Runner-up - Alyssa Ann Romano |

Miss Hartford County and Rocky Hill Pageants Select New Representatives

| The Miss Hartford County and Rocky Hill Pageants were held on Saturday, November 8th at the Rocky Hill High School Auditorium. The pageant was hosted by former Miss Hartford County's Nakiya Davis, Kara Mitchell, Ashley Abate and former Miss Rocky Hill Stacy Potter. Selected Miss Hartford County 2009 was Alexandria Puglisi and Hartford County's Outstanding Teen was Marisa Barnard. Crowned Miss Rocky Hill 2009 was Ashley Reid and Rocky Hill's Outstanding Teen was Allison Boillard. Congratulations to the Miss Hartford County and Rocky Hill Pageant Committee for an outstanding production enjoyed by all. Miss Connecticut 2008 Ashley Glenn and Connecticut's Outstanding Teen 2008 Rachael Ramonas congratulate the new selected representatives from the Rocky Hill and Hartford County pageants. |

Wolcott for The Wolcott and Greater Waterbury Outstanding Teen program featuring 21 contestants vieing for titles in the following divisions - Teen, Pre-teen, and Junior. Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased in advance by calling 203.228.7305 or by emailing stacybellastar@aol.com. Tickets are $15 and include a special program book and calender featuring our contestants. Please plan to join the winners in the school cafeteria after the show for a special After-party. | Please join the Miss Hartford County & Rocky Hill Scholarship Committee Saturday November 8th as they crown 4 young ladies! That's right 4! Miss Hartford County & Miss Rocky Hill's Outstanding Teen 2009 as well as Miss Hartford County & Miss Rocky Hill 2009. The pageant begins at 7:00 p.m. and is being held at Rocky Hill High School, 50 Chapin Ave. in Rocky Hill! Tickets are $15! It's going to be a great night and they hope to see you there! |

Wolcott Crowns a Winner!

| Last Saturday, November 1st marked the 40th Anniversary of the Miss Wolcott Scholarship Pageant. The pageant held at the Wolcott Senior High School was hosted by Mary Lynn Karpicki, Miss Wolcott 1987. The evenings entertainment featured performances by former Miss Wolcott 1978 Edie Pagoni, out going Miss Wolcott 2008 Amber Caron and a parade of former Miss Wolcott's. Scholarships were awarded to all contestants with Monica Mateghian announced as Miss Congeniality as well as the first runner-up, Cassandra Mastrianni was awarded the title of Miss Wolcott 2009 and will go on to compete for Miss Connecticut 2009 at the Garde Arts Center in New London during the week of June 21-27.
